Cookies & Tracking

The short version

We keep this deliberately minimal. We use no advertising cookies, run no third-party analytics or ad networks, and do not use an advertising identifier. We do not sell your personal information or track you across other websites.

What we do use

• In the app — strictly necessary storage. Your sign-in session and authentication tokens are stored on your device so you stay logged in. These are essential to provide the Service and cannot be turned off without signing you out. The app also stores your local settings, such as which notifications you have enabled.
• On this marketing website (luminality.ai) — nothing. The site sets no cookies of its own, and uses no browser storage: no analytics, no advertising, no functional cookies, and no consent flag. You can browse luminality.ai without anything being stored on your device by us.
• On our web app (app.luminality.ai) — a session cookie, and diagnostics storage. If you sign in to the web version of Luminality, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in; it is removed when you sign out. Our diagnostics provider may also keep a short-lived identifier in your browser so a single visit can be recognised as one session for error reporting and session recording.

Third-party providers

Some providers we rely on to run the Service may set their own cookies or use device storage when their features load — for example, Google or Apple for sign-in, and Stripe when you make a purchase (including for fraud prevention). Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Our diagnostics provider, Sentry, collects error information and session recordings from within the app and the web app — not by setting advertising cookies. See the Session recording section of our Privacy Policy for what that involves and how it is masked. It does not apply to this marketing website, which is not recorded.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data through your browser or device settings. Because the storage we use is limited to what is needed to sign you in and operate the Service, blocking it may sign you out or prevent parts of the Service from working.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or other tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie-consent banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.

We may update this notice from time to time and will revise the effective date above.
